Dr. Jenny C. Wilson is an associate professor in the College of Education, Department of Curriculum and Instruction. Dr. Wilson teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in literacy. She has been at A&M-SA since 2007. Dr. Wilson has teaching experience in K-8, which includes being an elementary teacher and a middle school reading teacher. She holds the following certifications: EC-12 Master Reading Teacher, PK-12 Reading Specialist, and a 1-8 Classroom teacher. Her research interests include: socially embedded literacy practices, remediation of reading difficulty, and co-teaching. She has presented at numerous national and international conferences. Dr. Wilson serves on many committees at the university and currently works with schools in the Austin and San Antonio area.
