BIO

Dr. Hsiao-Ping Wu is an Associate Professor at Texas A&M University-San Antonio. Dr. Wu joined the bilingual education and ESL program in 2011. She teaches a wide variety of subjects including second language education foundation, second language pedagogy, and linguistics for teacher candidates. Her teaching values student-teacher interaction, inclusiveness, self-directed learning, authenticity, and experiential learning. Her research focuses on second language error analysis, computer-mediated communication (CMC), digital literacy, English as a second (ESL) teacher identity, Bilingual/ESL teacher educator preparation, computer-assisted language learning (CALL), and studies of international students. She is enthusiastic to grow the master's in TESOL and ESL programs for international students at A&M-SA.
