Amanda L. Lindner is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Curriculum and Instruction. She has been at Texas A&M University–San Antonio since 2018 and teaches undergraduate and graduate courses in Literacy. Prior to coming to TAMU–SA, Dr. Lindner obtained her Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction with a focus on Literacy at Texas A&M University in College Station. In addition to Literacy, her educational background and experiences also include Special Education. Dr. Lindner’s areas of research include determining and providing effective and appropriate literacy instruction for students with diverse backgrounds and needs as well as teacher and teacher educator knowledge and practice of literacy and language constructs.
