Dr. David Carrasco Villalobos is from San Antonio, TX. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with a teaching certificate from The University of Texas at Austin in 2001. Beginning his career as a high school math teacher in Austin ISD, he earned his Master of Arts in Math Education from UT Austin in 2006. After leaving Austin, Texas in 2010, he continued his teaching career in Edgewood ISD in San Antonio, Texas where he would become an instructional math coach in 2016. He completed his Master of Arts and Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the University of Texas at San Antonio. In 2020, he was hired as the Math / Science Instructional Coach in South San ISD. In July of 2021, he was hired as the Assistant Principal for West Campus High School. He will continue his educational path as a future aspiring principal and superintendent.
