As an experienced educator and researcher with over 16 years of teaching at graduate and undergraduate levels, as well as conducting research at several universities in Turkey, I have had the privilege of collaborating with colleagues in various countries, including Belgium, Germany, Greece, Cyprus, Spain, Italy, and the United States and utilizing my leadership and management skills, serving as a coordinator and vice dean of the College of Education. Through my dedication to academic scholarship, I have published 45 peer-reviewed articles (including high-impact factor journals) and 22 books/book chapters and encyclopedia entries, presented at 38 professional meetings, where I have been invited to speak on various topics related to education and advised five master's theses.
My expertise has been recognized through numerous awards and honors, including the "2016 Young Scientist Award" from The Science Academy, multiple "ERASMUS" scholarships, "TUBITAK" awards for my research, and scientific publication awards. My work on the examination of Reggio Emilia initiatives has contributed to the understanding of early childhood education programs, focusing on child development and learning. My passion for teaching and mentoring is evident in the wide range of undergraduate and graduate courses I have taught since 2007, including Foundations of Preschool Education/Curricula, Educational Philosophy, Child Development, Educational Psychology, and Developmental Psychology, STEM & Art in Reggio Emilia Approach, Infant & Toddler Development, and more.
