Gregory Garza is a native of San Antonio, Texas, and an Our Lady of the Lake University alum. Greg received a BA in English and briefly worked as a high school English teacher. Thereafter, Greg enlisted in the US Army as an Information Technology Special (25B). He achieved the position of Brigade Automations and Communications Deputy Manager and Information Assurance Security Officer and is a three-time war veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Upon transitioning from active military service, Greg briefly worked for the City of San Antonio as an Information Systems Supervisor while concluding his military career with the US Army Reserves as a cyber analyst. Greg served nearly 10 years as an FBI Intelligence Analyst. He was assigned to the San Antonio Division Cyber Squad where he supported cyber national defense and cybercriminal missions. Greg currently serves at the Information Security Analyst for his alma mater, OLLU.

Greg received a MS in Computer and Information Systems Security from Our Lady of the Lake University and is currently pursuing a MS in Management from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor. On his off time, Greg is an adjunct instructor, teaching IT, business IT, and cyber courses. 

Greg holds certifications in SANS GCIH and GSEC.
