Join Agilent’s Americas Sales Internship Program and explore how scientific innovation connects with customers across life sciences, diagnostics, and applied markets. As an intern, you’ll gain hands‑on experience supporting sales operations, engaging with customers, analyzing markets, and contributing to initiatives that help laboratories around the world advance their science.
We are hiring 13 interns across our Americas Sales teams. Roles are available both onsite (Wilmington, Delaware) and remote (from anywhere in the U.S., ideally East Coast).

Agilent’s Americas Sales organization supports diverse scientific markets. Intern placements align to one of the following:
• Biological Life Sciences
Support teams working with customers who rely upon automated cell imaging, real time metabolic and functional analysis, flow cytometry, and fast, reliable molecular and synthetic biology workflows to deliver deeper, quantitative insights into sample health, behavior, and disease-relevant biology.
• Analytical Instruments, Chemistries, and Supplies
Engage with customers about our broad suite of chromatography and mass spectrometry instruments and comprehensive portfolio of consumable supplies designed to deliver high performance analytical capabilities for chemical, pharmaceutical, and research laboratories.
• Services and Lab Management
Work with a team dedicated to integrating instrument services, consulting, training, consumables, and lab-wide management solutions to improve productivity, maximize instrument uptime, enhance analytical performance, and optimize overall laboratory operations.
Candidates may be evaluated for multiple areas depending on interest and qualifications.
Key Responsibilities (Applicable To All Interns)
• Sales Operations & Campaign Support
Assist in inbound/outbound activities, update quotations, track campaign performance, and maintain system data accuracy.
• Customer Engagement
Connect with new and existing customers, generate and qualify leads, and support follow-up activities with sales teams.
• Project Ownership
Lead independent, high-visibility projects that provide meaningful value to Agilent's sales organization and customers.
• Market Research & Sales Tactics
Analyze markets, support competitive assessments, create promotional materials, and translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
• Product & Workflow Learning
Receive training on Agilent’s instrument portfolio and workflow solutions relevant to your assigned market team.
• CRM & Data Management
Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data in CRM systems and support reporting activities.
Qualifications
Who we’re looking for
You are currently in your sophomore or junior year at an accredited university and enrolled in a 4-year degree program in a STEM field – such as Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology, Molecular Biology, Environmental Science, Materials Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
What You Bring
• Strong analytical, organizational, time management, and problem‑solving skills.
• Clear and confident communication skills - written, verbal, and by phone.
• Self-motivation and a careful, detail‑oriented approach to following instructions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) and experience with spreadsheet data.
• A curious mindset, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative team environment.
What Will Help You Stand Out
• Experience in customer-facing or student leadership roles (e.g., sales, tutoring, academic advising, peer ambassador programs, etc.).
• Familiarity with CRM systems, databases, or data analysis tools.
Work Conditions & Schedule
• Duration: 12 months.
• Start Date: Targeted for May/June 2026 start date.
• Schedule: Full-time during summer (40 hours per week); part-time during the school year (15-20 hours per week).

• Remote — Open to candidates anywhere within the U.S.
• Onsite — Wilmington, DE
• Agilent provides a laptop and necessary equipment for the internship term.
Compensation & Benefits
• Hourly Pay: $29.04–$32.00 (Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.)
