About the program:
• Location: Saint Petersburg, FL
• Timeframe: Length of a semester; however, some may be extended
• Hours: 30-40 hours per week, flexible schedule to accommodate class schedule
• Weekly gatherings with interns, managers, and/or executives

• Opportunities typically available in the following areas throughout the year: Product Management, Operations, Marketing, Business Intelligence and Analytics, Actuarial, Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, and others
Primary responsibilities:
• Supports HR Team regarding employment activity for their client’s as a PEO (Professional Employer Organization) i.e., compliance, new hires, terminations, LOA, status updates, payroll reports, etc.
• Handles confidential information/procedures when deemed necessary
• Complete I-9 audits/E-Verify and issue compliance documentation
• Assist with administering client’s leave of absences (LOA) in accordance to Federal, State and Company compliance for their employees
• Supports HR Team with administrative tasks and/or performs other duties as assigned
• Assist HR Manager/HR Team with various projects and/or special projects
• Support BFC leaders in the completion of critical projects and initiatives
• Analyze and improve current processes, products and systems
• Identify, research and implement innovative solutions to current and new questions
• Present findings of research/analysis
• Provide fresh perspective on current products, operations and strategy
Required skills and characteristics:
• Driven, versatile, analytical, intelligent, quickly learn new concept, communicate effectively, and be familiar with principles of business
• Familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook
• Preferred skills, characteristics, and knowledge are largely dependent upon field of study and specific area of focus of internship
