Role Description
The Operations Manager Intern will support the day-to-day coordination and optimization of Black & Dainty’s programs, services, and internal processes.
This internship role is hybrid, based in the Greensboro–Winston-Salem–High Point area, with some work-from-home flexibility.
Key responsibilities include assisting with scheduling coaching sessions and workshops, managing calendars, and maintaining organized records and documentation.
The intern will help streamline workflows, coordinate communication with clients and community members, and track participation and feedback to improve service delivery.
Additional tasks may involve supporting event logistics, monitoring online platforms and course enrollments, and collaborating with the leadership team to ensure smooth, consistent operations across all offerings.
Qualifications
• Operational and organizational skills, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and basic project management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with clients, partners, and internal team members.
• Competence with digital tools and platforms such as spreadsheets, shared drives, scheduling apps, and virtual meeting software.
• Attention to detail and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Interest in coaching, personal development, or women’s empowerment, with sensitivity to the experiences of Black and Brown communities.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting, demonstrating reliability, self-motivation, and accountability.
• Relevant coursework or experience in operations, business administration, nonprofit or program management is beneficial.
• Availability to work part-time during standard business hours in the Greensboro–Winston-Salem–High Point area.
