Job Description
Blockhead City is seeking marketing interns interested in gaining hands-on experience with modern marketing, AI, social media, and digital content. This is an unpaid, virtual and highly flexible internship designed to give students real-world experience working independently on marketing projects for books, television, and entertainment brands. Please note that our preference is 2nd or 3rd year college students in Michigan.
What You'll Gain Experience In
• AI marketing and the professional use of AI tools
• Using LLMs for content research, marketing ideation, copywriting, and strategy
• Social media content creation for platforms including TikTok and Instagram
• Short-form content and creative development
• SEO and Answer Engine Optimization (AEO)
• Marketing strategy, creative ideation, and campaign development
• Content optimization and analyzing what makes marketing content effective
This internship is designed to provide experience with the evolving tools and strategies shaping the future of marketing. Students will have the opportunity to explore how AI and emerging technologies can be used professionally while developing practical skills that complement traditional university coursework.
Flexible and Independent
This is a 100% virtual position with a flexible schedule. We are happy to work around classes, jobs, extracurricular activities, and other commitments. Much of the internship involves hands-on, independent work, allowing interns to take ownership of projects while gaining practical experience.
A serious interest in marketing, advertising, content creation, books, television, writing, or entertainment is helpful, but not required. We are primarily looking for motivated, creative, and reliable students who are interested in learning and exploring the future of marketing.
