Sales Intern – Summer 2026 Internship

Overview

We are looking for a Sales Intern for Summer 2026 (June - August) for our Washington, DC area office. Our Sales Internship program provides hands-on experience across business development, client engagement, and workforce delivery.
As a Sales Intern, you will work directly with Account Executives, Recruiters, and Delivery teams to support active client accounts and help drive new business opportunities. This role offers a unique blend of inside sales, field exposure, and operational support - giving you a well-rounded view of how deals are generated, supported, and executed in fast-paced technical environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Support day-to-day sales and recruiting activities in partnership with Account Executives and Recruiters
• Act as a Business Development Representative (BDR) partner by: Conducting outbound lead generation calls and prospecting into target accounts; Building and maintaining prospect lists; Supporting follow-ups and meeting generation efforts
• Research and identify relevant networking events, industry meetups, and client engagement opportunities; support coordination and attendance
• Assist in planning and executing client engagement initiatives, including office visits, events, and relationship-building efforts (e.g., coordinating food/gift drops)
• Participate in onsite client visits, including: Attending walkthroughs and site tours with sales and delivery teams; Supporting logistics such as delivering materials, equipment, or tools when needed; Observing client interactions in active project environments
• Gain hands-on field exposure through: Ride-alongs with Account Executives and delivery teams; Attendance at client meetings and industry networking events; and Direct interaction with both clients and consultants
• Support consultant engagement efforts, including check-ins and relationship support activities
• Assist with internal tracking and organization of client activity, candidate pipelines, and account notes using CRM tool
• Contribute to intern-led projects such as territory mapping, market research, and process improvements

Qualifications
• Rising junior or senior pursuing a degree in Business, Communications, or a related field
