About the Firm and Role


We are a fast-paced litigation firm focused on insurance defense and related civil litigation across New York and New Jersey. Our attorneys rely on strong administrative structure, efficient workflow, organized office systems, and sound financial tracking.


We are seeking law students to join our team as Summer Litigation Interns. This role provides direct, hands-on exposure to active litigation matters and is ideal for candidates looking to build a strong foundation in civil litigation practice.


Interns will assist with drafting legal documents, reviewing evidentiary materials, and supporting attorneys with day-to-day litigation tasks.


Key Responsibilities


Core Litigation Support
• Assist in drafting pleadings, motions, and proposed judgments
• Review evidentiary materials and case files to identify key facts and issues
• Support court filings, document preparation, and general litigation tasks


Legal Research and Analysis
• Conduct legal research using recognized legal research tools
• Prepare summaries of case law, statutes, and other legal authorities


Case and Document Management
• Organize and maintain case files for accuracy and accessibility
• Assist with e-filing and document management systems
• Track case materials, deadlines, and deliverables using Excel and other tools


Quality Control and Execution
• Review work product for accuracy and completeness
• Handle assigned tasks with attention to detail and timeliness
• Support multiple assignments in a deadline-driven environment


Team Collaboration
• Work closely with attorneys and staff on active litigation matters
• Receive and apply feedback to improve work quality
• Maintain clear and professional communication




Qualifications
• Currently enrolled in law school or set to graduate this year (2026)
• Strong interest in litigation and a fast-paced legal environment
• Familiarity with legal writing or drafting (preferred but not required)
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel preferred)
