Role Description The Event Intern will support the planning and execution of watch parties, special events, and community meetups for Dallas Pit Crew. This internship is a hybrid role based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, with a mix of on-site event support and remote work for planning, coordination, and communication tasks. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with event logistics, preparing event materials, coordinating with venues and vendors, supporting event marketing efforts, and helping manage guest communication and check-in. The intern will also contribute to capturing event feedback, maintaining guest lists, and providing on-site customer service to ensure a welcoming experience for attendees. This role offers hands-on experience in event operations and motorsport community building.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with guests, partners, and team members.
• Customer service skills with a focus on providing a friendly, inclusive, and responsive attendee experience.
• Event planning and coordination skills, including scheduling, logistics support, and attention to detail.
• Event marketing and basic sales skills, such as promoting events, engaging audiences, and supporting sponsorship or partner outreach.
• Interest in motorsports or sports events, with enthusiasm for community engagement.
• Ability to work some evenings and weekends for events in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
• Reliable transportation to event locations within the metroplex.
• Proficiency with basic productivity tools (e.g., email, spreadsheets, shared documents); social media experience is a plus.
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed studies in Event Management, Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not required.
