2. Role DescriptionWe are looking for a passionate and ambitious Semiconductor Sales Intern to support Datafabrix.AI’s business development and go-to-market initiatives in the semiconductor, AI infrastructure, data center, and advanced computing markets.
The intern will work closely with the leadership, sales, product, and technical teams to identify potential customers, research market opportunities, build sales pipelines, and support customer engagement activities. This role is ideal for someone who wants to understand how deep-tech companies take advanced semiconductor and AI infrastructure solutions to global customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Research semiconductor companies, AI chip companies, data center operators, cloud infrastructure providers, server OEMs, cooling technology companies, and high-performance computing customers.
• Identify and qualify potential sales leads across India, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, Europe, and the US.
• Support outreach campaigns through email, LinkedIn, industry networks, technology forums, and events.
• Assist in preparing sales presentations, capability decks, proposal documents, market research reports, and customer introduction material.
• Study customer challenges related to AI infrastructure, chip power density, thermal management, cooling efficiency, hardware reliability, and performance optimization.
• Help translate Datafabrix.AI’s thermal-aware AI infrastructure capabilities into clear, customer-focused business messages.
• Track leads, customer interactions, follow-ups, and opportunity status using CRM or structured sales tracking tools.
• Conduct competitor research and market mapping across AI infrastructure, semiconductor thermal analytics, data center optimization, and hardware intelligence platforms.
• Build strategic account lists across semiconductor, cloud, AI computing, data center, automotive, telecom, industrial, and edge AI sectors.
• Coordinate with technical teams to understand product capabilities and support customer-specific solution positioning.
• Participate in sales review discussions and contribute ideas for improving lead generation, customer conversion, and market visibility.
This internship offers hands-on exposure to semiconductor sales, AI infrastructure business development, data center technology, thermal management solutions, deep-tech customer engagement, and global B2B sales strategy.
3. QualificationsWe are looking for candidates who are curious, disciplined, energetic, and eager to build a career in semiconductor sales, AI infrastructure business development, or deep-tech technology marketing.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Semiconductor Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Data Science, MBA, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• Strong interest in semiconductors, AI infrastructure, data centers, high-performance computing, thermal management, embedded systems, chip design, or deep-tech business development.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to research companies, understand technical business opportunities, and summarize findings clearly.
• Good presentation, documentation, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable using LinkedIn, email tools, spreadsheets, CRM platforms, and online research tools.
• Self-driven attitude with strong ownership, consistency, and willingness to learn.
• Basic understanding of semiconductor or infrastructure terms such as AI accelerators, GPU clusters, ASIC, SoC, FPGA, power density, cooling systems, data centers, servers, thermal design, embedded systems, or VLSI will be an added advantage.
• Prior internship experience in sales, marketing, business development, semiconductor, data center, electronics, or technology companies is a plus, but not mandatory.
