Position Summary

To be eligible, candidates must be rising juniors or seniors (expected graduation date between December 2026 and August 2027) at the time of the internship. Successful interns may be considered for future full-time opportunities following graduation.

Overview

We are seeking a talented and innovative Employee Experience Intern to join our team for a focused summer project from June 1 through July 31. This internship offers hands-on experience in event coordination, employee engagement initiatives, and company culture programming for a leading real estate investment company.

You will collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to create memorable experiences and meaningful touchpoints that elevate employee satisfaction and strengthen our workplace culture—without administrative tasks. The program concludes with a final presentation to senior stakeholders.

Key Responisbilities

• Event Support: Assist in planning and executing company events, including team celebrations and activities, and social gatherings that foster connection and engagement.
• Gifting Initiatives: Design, source, and coordinate all company gifting programs, including onboarding welcome packages, milestone celebrations, holiday gifts, and recognition items that reflect company values.
• Culture Programming: Collaborate with the Employee Experience teams and Employee Engagement Committee to brainstorm and execute innovative ideas for culture-building initiatives and employee experience enhancements.
• Engagement Research: Analyze employee engagement trends and best practices in workplace culture to inform program decisions and recommendations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Employee Experience team, accounting team, and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of employee experience objectives.
• Final Presentation: Deliver a comprehensive showcase of employee experience projects, impact metrics, and strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders.
• Local Travel: During the first two weeks, travel locally within Nashville (up to 25%) for site visits and team meetings.


Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Hospitality Management, Communications, Event Management, or related field.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a passion for creating positive employee experiences.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities to develop engaging culture initiatives. Proficiency in design tools (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
• Strong creative thinking and attention to detail.
• Comfortable presenting creative concepts to senior stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel locally up to 25%).

• Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate, though the ability to withstand seasonal cold and heat of the outdoors is necessary.


Travel Requirements

• Travel up to 25% of the time.
