Technical Intern for IT Developer/Projects and Warehouse Shipping & Receiving (IFS, SQL, ERP applications) – Onsite to Hybrid – Bartlett, TN (Memphis) – Full time in Summer transitioning to part time in Fall

The Technical Intern for IT Developer/Projects and Warehouse (Full time Summer 2026 transitioning to Part time in Fall) position offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to multiple programming languages, participate on significant projects, and benefit from Experitec resources. During the internship you will be collaborating with a team of experienced professionals to gain a deeper understanding of IFS Cloud, Oracle/PLSQL programming and more! This is a dual position and will also include responsibilities in our warehouse. This is an excellent opportunity to be hands on in a company while enhancing the skills you currently possess and growing professionally within a dynamic and supportive environment.

What Technical Intern - IT Developer/Projects and Warehouse Will Do:

Our Interns are responsible for performing tasks requiring the application of standard techniques and procedures. This includes:

• Participating in continuous improvement efforts by collecting and analyzing data.
• Research solutions and project concerns; analyze and recommend solutions to problems.
• Assist with valued ad hoc projects.
• Assist in the development of ideas and opportunities to improve internal materials.
• Handle daily challenges that allow you to put your problem-solving skills in action.
• Organize, update, and maintain documentation.
• Assist in our warehouse with shipping & receiving, data entry and inventory.
• Assist with responses to general questions.

We are looking for a motivated and eager professional to join our dynamic team. This is a career opportunity for individuals with basic programming experience and willingness to learn warehouse responsibilities. We will help you learn and grow in IFS Applications development, event customization, page design, and Oracle/PLSQL programming.

You may assist in the design, development, and maintenance of IFS ERP applications while ensuring seamless integration with business processes. Working closely with senior developers and key stakeholders you will customize IFS solutions, develop basic database queries, and enhance system functionality. This will include debugging, problem-solving, and learning best practices for software development.

Internship Will Be

• 10-12-week learning journey to gain valuable hands-on experience between May and September 2026 for 30-40 hours per week with the potential opportunity to work part-time in fall 2026 and spring 2027.
• Full-time or Part-time paid summer position.
• Opportunity available in Chesterfield, MO or Lenexa, KS.

• Position is part of our IT and Warehouse teams within the Enabling Functions.

Required Skills, Experience & Abilities

• Currently enrolled, and in good standing, in a post-secondary education and/or technical certificate program in a field related to IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Programming, Warehousing, or a related field of study.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Basic knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office programs.

• Ability to learn and operate hand tools and power tools including foam packaging machine, vinyl strapping tension and sealing tool, framing nailer, reciprocating saw, compound miter saw, and panel saw.
• Ability to work in office 30-40 hours per week in summer during scheduled shifts and to occasionally work additional hours and potential weekend options when business needs arise.
• Ability to learn shipping and receiving tasks and contribute to warehouse data processing.
• Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs. in warehouse.
• Ability to work in manufacturing and data center environments with shifting and extreme temperatures.
• Ability to wear PPE as appropriate for potential environmental hazards.


Preferred Skills, Experience & Abilities

• Actively involved in campus, community or other volunteer activities or organizations.
• Minimum of 3.0 GPA.
• Prior experience in Power Automate.
• Fluent in Excel.
• Ability to work full-time in the summer transitioning to 10-20 hours per week in Fall 2026 and/or Spring 2026.
• Prior experience coding.
• Prior experience utilizing SQL.
• Prior warehouse experience.
• Work experience in shipping & receiving.
• Experience operating hand tools and power tools.
• Prior experience driving forklift and/or manlift vehicles.
• One or more years of experience in manufacturing or industrial industry.
• One or more years of experience coordinating inventory with inventory management system.
• Military experience.
• Proficient with machine operation of foam packaging machine, vinyl strapping tension and sealing tool, framing nailer, reciprocating saw, compound miter saw, and/or panel saw.
• Prior experience in landscaping, woodworking, and/or general construction.
• Demonstrated leadership skills.
• Customer service experience.
• Prior internship and/or related work experience.
