Position Overview:
GBN is seeking a driven, professional, and detail-oriented Sales & Member Services Intern to support membership growth, sales operations, and member experience.
This is not a passive internship. You will gain direct exposure to how a high-level network grows—through targeted outreach, relationship-building, and consistent member engagement.
You will work closely with leadership to support real sales activity, assist in managing the membership pipeline, and help deliver a strong experience to current members.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to build a career in sales, business development, or client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support outbound membership growth efforts through email and LinkedIn outreach
- Assist in identifying, researching, and qualifying prospective members
- Help manage and maintain the sales pipeline within CRM systems
- Coordinate scheduling and follow-ups for membership calls and conversations
- Support onboarding of new members to ensure a seamless first experience
- Engage with current members to support retention and overall satisfaction
- Participate in member service phone calls, handling basic inquiries and gaining real-world communication experience
- Track interactions, notes, and activity within the CRM with a high level of accuracy
- Assist in executing member engagement initiatives and feedback collection
- Support ongoing communication efforts tied to membership growth and experience
Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confident, professional presence—both written and on the phone
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Interest in sales, business development, or client services
- Ability to take ownership of tasks and follow through
- Comfortable working with systems, data, and CRM platforms
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Working towards a degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
- Familiarity with CRM tools, LinkedIn, or sales outreach is a plus
