Role Description
This is an on-site internship role for a Sales and Service Intern based in Delhi, OH. The intern will support the sales team by assisting with lead follow-up, explaining services to potential clients, and maintaining accurate records of interactions. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging with customers in person and over the phone, responding to basic inquiries, and coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely service delivery. The intern will help prepare sales presentations, update customer databases, and support promotional activities or local outreach events. Under supervision, the intern will also learn how to handle feedback and escalate complex issues to senior team members while maintaining a professional and empathetic approach.
Qualifications
• Strong interpersonal, customer service, and basic sales communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently and respectfully with diverse customers.
• Good organizational, time management, and follow-up skills to manage multiple tasks, documentation, and customer interactions effectively.
• Comfort with using computers, spreadsheets, and basic office or CRM tools to maintain records and prepare simple reports.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team, take direction, and ask questions when clarification is needed.
• Enthusiasm to learn about healthcare services, local market needs, and ethical practices in sales and customer support.
• Clear spoken and written communication skills; proficiency in English is required, and additional local language skills are an advantage.
• Current enrollment in or recent completion of a program in business, healthcare management, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Professional, respectful attitude and willingness to work on-site in Delhi, OH during agreed internship hours.
