Artist Team Internship opportunity for INFAMOUS PR
Infamous PR is seeking highly-motivated individuals to participate in its fast-paced internship program. Applicants should have an interest in dance music and be ready to learn the in-and-outs of working in the music PR industry. Infamous PR's program is highly-involved and offers hands-on training and experience that is invaluable to working in the industry.
Infamous PR represents some of the biggest acts in dance music, including RÜFÜS DU SOL, Dirtybird Records, Jazzy & DJ Tennis, as well as festivals like CRSSD, HARD Summer, and Electric Forest. We are a dedicated group that are passionate about what we do and the music we represent and are seeking interns that are just as excited about the music and industry as we are.
As an intern on INFAMOUS PR's Artist Team, you can expect to be involved in the following:
Research background information for upcoming artist campaigns
Research across multiple platforms for new opportunities for artists campaigns (TikTok/Instagram, Editorial, Podcast, Radio, DSP)
Reporting on weekly client campaign wins across multiple platforms
Researching, creating and building lists of contacts
Participating in weekly staff meetings and brainstorms
Drafting pitches and press releases to media for upcoming tour dates, song & album releases, and more
Contributing to the larger team by presenting new ideas and research for existing campaigns
Directly assisting publicists with a number of other tasks
If experience in the dance music industry is something you would like to gain, then please send an email with your resume, cover letter, and expected availability. In addition, it is important that you please tell us your favorite artist and favorite album. The internship is from June to September 2026.
Interns will be working remotely 3 days a week (Fridays required) for 6-8 hours via Slack, email, and phone. You will be asked to video conference into some of the team meetings but not necessary in day-to-day work. Hours are variable as we have team members in both NY and LA.
