Intracoastal Bank is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Community Banking Intern to join our Daytona team. This is a paid, in-person internship designed for students who are either (1) currently attending a local college/university or (2) from the area or currently living in the Daytona Beach community.
This internship provides hands-on exposure to the day-to-day operations of a community bank, with a particular emphasis on supporting the Commercial Banking Department (credit, loan administration, sales and service), while also offering insight into other core banking functions.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist the Credit Department with administrative and analytical tasks.
• Assist with sales related research and analytics.
• Support loan documentation, credit files, and data organization.
• Gain exposure to lending, operations, compliance, and customer service functions.
• Participate in day-to-day banking activities and special projects.
• Interact with bank staff to learn about community banking best practices.

Requirements
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in a local college or university (finance, business, accounting, economics, or related field preferred).
• Fromthe Daytona Beach area or currently residing locally for the summer.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Eagerness to learn and interest in banking or financial services.
Salary Description $19 per hour
