What You Will Be Doing
• Support human resources department by screening, and interviewing applicants
• Assist recruiters in posting job ads on careers pages
• Coordinates employee events through the planning process and provides active participation
• Review invoices for accuracy and process for payment
• Organize, compile, update company personnel records and documentation
• Manage corporate gear store
• Prepare, manage, and store paperwork for HR policies and procedures
• Answer employees’ questions and provide requested information
• Maintain schedule and coordinate calendar activities
• Create reports for management
• Help organize and manage new employee orientation, on-boarding, and training programs
• Perform other duties, in addition to normal responsibilities, to help the overall workflow of the department and other departments, as assigned by the team leader or direct report such as participation on committees.
• Provide administrative support for Human Resources
What We Need From You
• Two years of undergraduate education towards a bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field.
• Strong clerical skills and PC proficiency with Microsoft Excel is desired
• Must work independently as well as part of a team, exhibit a positive attitude, cooperative spirit and have a commitment and dedication to quality service while maintaining confidentiality
• Must be self-motivated and have excellent organizational skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor are required
Work From Home and Hybrid Requirements: This particular position is Hybrid and requires in-office / plus work from home days to our offices in Westbury, New York:
• Internet speed of 100 mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net).
• Able to dedicate a quiet space for daily work that is free of sound interruptions.
• All equipment will be provided by Jovia (Computer, Monitor, Headset)
