Internship Description

Position Summary
LEGACY MOTOR CLUB is seeking a motivated and creative Digital Platforms Intern to support
our digital platforms, fan engagement initiatives, and content operations. This 12-week
internship provides hands-on experience across website management, membership programs,
mobile app communications, social media, graphic design, content production, and digital
strategy within a professional motorsports organization.


The ideal candidate is passionate about sports, entertainment, digital marketing, and fan
engagement, with a desire to learn how multiple departments collaborate to create world-class
fan experiences.


Responsibilities
• Digital Platforms
Assist with updates and maintenance of the LEGACY MOTOR CLUB website.
Support content publishing, homepage updates, driver page updates, and race-week
communications.
Perform quality assurance testing and content reviews.
Assist with digital asset management and organization.
• Mobile App & Internal Communications
Support content updates within the LEGACY internal app.
Upload and organize creative assets, headshots, and event information.
Assist with race-weekend push notifications and stakeholder communications.
Help document workflows and operational procedures.
• The CLUB Membership Program
Assist with content creation and updates for The CLUB membership platform.
Support member communications and engagement initiatives.
Help track participation and engagement metrics.
Contribute ideas to improve member retention, exclusivity, and overall fan experience.


Rotation Between:
• Social Media & Content Marketing
Support content planning and social media strategy efforts.
Assist with caption writing, content organization, and trend research.
Participate in race-week content preparation and execution.
Monitor digital trends across sports, entertainment, and motorsports.
• Creative & Content Production
Collaborate with creative and production teams on digital campaigns.
Assist with graphic design projects, web assets, and promotional materials.
Support video editing workflows, clip logging, asset organization, and content
management.
Help develop fan-facing creative content.
• Analytics & Strategy
Review website, membership, and social media performance metrics.
Learn and assist with UTM tracking, click-through rate analysis, and engagement
reporting.
Contribute recommendations based on digital performance data.
Help identify opportunities to improve fan engagement and platform performance.

Capstone Project
During the final phase of the internship, the intern will lead a capstone project focused on
improving a fan-facing digital experience.
Potential projects may include:
Creating a race-week digital campaign
Developing a fan onboarding strategy for The CLUB
Designing a sponsor integration concept
Building a content series proposal
Improving a digital platform or fan experience workflow
The project will include:
Strategic proposal
Timeline and implementation plan
Goals and KPIs
Creative concepts or mockups
Final presentation to leadership


Qualifications
• Required
Recent graduate or current student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications,
Digital Media, Sports Management, Journalism, Graphic Design, or a related field.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Passion for sports or motorsports, digital media, and fan engagement.
Ability to remotely work race weekends.
• Preferred
Experience with content management systems (CMS).
Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools.
Basic graphic design experience using Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
Basic video editing experience.
Understanding of digital marketing concepts and performance metrics.
