At Lonza, we have a vision to be the pioneer and world leader in the CDMO industry. In this summer internship, you will join our Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) team in Bend, Oregon, where you will gain hands-on experience supporting safety, environmental, and health programs in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The internship runs during summer 2026, with flexible start and end dates to support school schedules. You must be able to commit to 40 hours per week for the duration of the program.

What You Will Do

• Support site safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental programs across the Bend campus.
• Assist with conducting hazard assessments and documenting findings.
• Help develop, update, and deliver EHS training materials.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities within EHS management systems.
• Work collaboratively with operations, engineering, and development teams.
• Access manufacturing and utility areas to support monitoring and assessment activities.


What We Are Looking For

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or advanced degree in a relevant scientific or engineering field.
• Interest in environmental health, safety, or sustainability within an industrial setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate clearly.
• A proactive, curious mindset and willingness to learn.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior EHS or pharmaceutical experience is helpful, but not required .
