Summer Intern - Underwriting

We are currently seeking high-performing college student(s) interested in a career majoring in Insurance/Risk/Actuary Science to participate in Novacore's 2026 Summer Internship Program. All internship opportunities are paid and offer mentorship, peer interaction, project work, executive visibility, volunteer opportunities, and networking events.

Our internship program starts May 18th through August 6th. This is a hybrid internship with 3 days required onsite at the Conshohocken, PA Home Office and 2 days work from home.
Responsibilities
• Fully assist team members as needed
• Interact with agents to provide superior customer service via phone and email
• Review submissions for completeness, accuracy, and make requests for information
• Assist with policy issuance, binding, and billing
• Review documentation & prepare files under Underwriting guidance
• Follow up on open items and request additional information to finalize tasks
• Attend team meetings and perform additional duties as assigned
