We are seeking a motivated Legal Intern to support our M&A Legal team in the US with organization, documentation, and special projects related to our portfolio companies. This internship offers hands-on exposure to legal operations and is ideal for students interested in pursuing a legal career.


Responsibilities:
• Create and maintain an Excel spreadsheet or similar resource that summarizes key provisions from portfolio company LLC and LP agreements
• Reorganize and standardize Legal Department document folders to improve accessibility and consistency
• Draft simple legal documentation for portfolio companies under supervision


Duration and Hours:
• Expected duration: approximately two to four months
• Weekly hours: approximately 15 hours per week


Requirements:
• Preferred candidates include pre-law students or early law school students
• Candidates should be studying pre-law, law or completing their paralegal studies
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Practical experience using Excel, Word, Teams, and SharePoint is preferred
