Title: Regulatory Compliance Intern
Department: Regulatory Compliance
Location/Schedule: Chicago, IL/Hybrid, 3 days in-office
Classification: Full-Time/Non-Exempt

Position Overview:
Old Republic is seeking highly motivated and enthusiastic interns to join our 12–week Internship Program. This immersive experience offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various departments, develop professional skills, and build meaningful connections in a dynamic and collaborative environment. Interns will contribute to real projects, learn from experienced professionals, and gain insight into the operations and culture of our organization.


Program Objectives:
• Provide interns with practical, hands-on experience in a professional setting.
• Develop key skills, including communication, problem-solving, time management, and teamwork and collaboration.
• Introduce interns to various aspects of the organization and potential career paths.
• Support interns in completing a capstone project and delivering a final presentation to stakeholders, demonstrating applied skills and strategic thinking.


Essential Job Functions:
• Assist with day-to-day projects and tasks in the assigned department.
• Support cross-functional teams and collaborate on initiatives to drive business objectives.
• Participate in meetings, training, and professional development sessions.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support business operations and departmental needs.
• Participate in the development of Change Management for Laws and Regulatory workflow activities, including ingestion, transformation and documentation for any existing or new processes.
• Contribute to the development of dashboards/reporting by developing process guidance documentation and aids.
• Support data collection, organization, and analysis using common data formats (CSV, Excel, SQL, Smartsheet) and dataset cleansing.


Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate, graduate program, or a recent graduate.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required.
• Strong time management skills and prioritizing competing tasks to meet deadlines.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
