Role Description
The Podcast Editor Intern is a part-time, on-site role based in Orlando, FL. This is an unpaid internship, with school credit available for students who need it as part of their program. The intern will assist in editing and refining episodes of the Real Tough Lawyers podcast, helping shape raw recordings into polished, publish-ready content for YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts. Day-to-day responsibilities include editing audio and video files, cleaning and enhancing sound quality, cutting short-form clips for social media, and ensuring episodes meet brand and quality standards. The intern will help prepare show notes, episode descriptions, and basic promotional copy, and may assist with scheduling recordings and coordinating with staff. The role also involves managing file storage, maintaining an organized workflow, and collaborating with the marketing team to deliver consistent, professional content.

• Highly disciplined, reliable, and responsible; consistently meets deadlines with minimal oversight
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro required; experience with DaVinci Resolve is a strong plus
• Basic sound design and post-production skills such as noise reduction, leveling, and mixing voice tracks
• Strong written communication skills for creating show notes, episode summaries, and clear, concise copy
• Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple episodes, deadlines, and feedback cycles
• Attention to detail and quality assurance skills to review content for clarity, consistency, and audio/video standards
• Ability to collaborate effectively with staff and the marketing team in a professional office environment
• Interest in podcast production, media, or content creation; prior exposure to legal or professional services content is a plus
• Enrollment in or completion of coursework in media production, communications, journalism, or a related field is preferred
• Willingness to learn, receive constructive feedback, and adapt to established brand and compliance guidelines
