About Pulsewave

Pulsewave is a new wave of DJ analytics — a platform that lets DJs record, analyze, and visualize their sets using real-time performance data and AI-driven insights. Our mission is to bring analytics to the heart of music performance, helping DJs and producers understand crowd energy, track appeal, and creative flow through powerful visual feedback.
We’re building from concept to MVP — and now we’re ready to bring our Figma prototype to life. That’s where you come in.

The Role

As a Software Engineer Intern at Pulsewave, you’ll work directly with the founder to turn visual designs into a functional application. You’ll play a key role in designing the architecture, building out the front-end and back-end, and experimenting with music analytics or real-time audio components.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in:
• Converting a full Figma design into a working Flutter/iOS app.
• Building Firebase or Supabase back-end integrations (authentication, profile data, cloud storage).
• Implementing audio playback and visualization features.
• Collaborating in early-stage product design cycles and feature iteration.
This internship is ideal for someone who loves both music and code, and wants to see their work evolve into a product used by performers worldwide.

Required Skills

• Experience with Flutter, React Native, or another cross-platform framework.
• Familiarity with Firebase, Supabase, or AWS Amplify.
• Comfortable working with Figma and translating design systems into responsive UI.
• Strong skills in Dart, JavaScript, or similar languages.
• Interest in music production, AI/audio tech, or startup development is a big plus.

What You’ll Get

• Direct mentorship from the founder and early engineering contributors.
• Real-world startup and MVP-building experience.
• Potential equity or paid position upon funding round or launch.
• A chance to shape the Pulsewave platform from the ground up.
