We’re looking for a motivated part-time HR Intern to support our Human Resources team with day-to-day operations and people initiatives. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world HR experience across recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and HR administration.
Duties And Responsibilities
• Learn how to work as part of the human resources team.
• Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed.
• Assist with HR projects, policy updates, employee communications, and other departmental initiatives.
• Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
• Assist in preparing HR documents
• Assist with the recruitment process, including but not limited to screening resumes and conducting phone screens.
• Support payroll and other administrative tasks as needed.
• Other duties as they arise or assigned.
Requirements
Reasoning Ability:
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments efficiently.
• Demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy when handling employee records.
• Ability to follow established processes and identify inconsistencies in documentation.
• Exercise discretion and good judgment when working with confidential information.
Qualifications And Education Requirements
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Prior HR or office experience is a plus, but not required.
Physical Requirements
• Frequently sit for extended periods of time
• Occasionally stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, pinch, grasp, and/or bend
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
