We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Food & Beverage Intern to join our team and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced lifestyle hospitality environment.
What you will learn & do
As a Food & Beverage Intern, you will gain practical experience across daily restaurant and service operations while learning what it takes to deliver exceptional hospitality.
Restaurant Service & Guest Experience
• Welcoming and seating guests with warmth and professionalism
• Creating memorable dining experiences through attentive and personalized service
• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and confidently
• Supporting guests with menu recommendations and explaining dishes, drinks, and pairings
• Ensuring guest satisfaction throughout the entire dining experience
Food & Beverage Operations
• Assisting in daily restaurant setup and service preparation (mise en place)
• Supporting smooth service during breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special events
• Learning service standards and operational procedures
• Assisting with opening and closing routines
• Understanding quality control and presentation standards
Beverage & Product Knowledge
• Building knowledge of wines, cocktails, spirits, coffee, and non-alcoholic beverages
• Learning food and beverage pairing principles
• Understanding menu concepts and ingredient profiles, especially within modern Asian cuisine
• Supporting upselling through confident product recommendations
Teamwork & Coordination
• Working closely with kitchen, bar, and service teams to ensure smooth operations
• Supporting communication between departments
• Learning how to manage busy service periods efficiently
• Contributing to a positive team atmosphere
Operational Insight & Problem Solving
• Learning how to handle guest feedback and service recovery professionally
• Understanding the dynamics of high-volume service operations
• Developing problem-solving skills in real-time hospitality situations
• Gaining insight into cost awareness, stock handling, and operational efficiency
What we are looking for
You Are Someone Who
• Is currently studying hospitality, tourism, food service, or a related field
• Has a genuine passion for food, drinks, and guest interaction
• Enjoys working in a lively, people-focused environment
• Is proactive, reliable, and eager to learn
• Has strong communication and teamwork skills
• Speaks English fluently (Danish or additional languages are a plus)
• Thrives in a fast-paced service environment
• Brings positive energy, curiosity, and a hands-on mindset
Previous restaurant or bar experience is a plus—but attitude and motivation matter most.
