Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and dependable IT Support Intern to assist with day-to-day break/fix support for end-user devices and IT equipment. This role provides hands-on experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues in a fast-paced business environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and interested in building a career in IT support or infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide first-level technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
• Troubleshoot and resolve break/fix issues related to: Hardware (PCs, monitors, peripherals), Software (Windows OS, Office applications, standard business tools), Connectivity (network access, VPN, Wi-Fi)
• Assist with device imaging, setup, and deployment for new and existing employees
• Perform basic repairs and component replacements (RAM, hard drives, cables, etc.)
• Document issues, resolutions, and procedures in the IT service system
• Support user account setup and basic access requests
• Help maintain inventory of IT assets and equipment
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed
• Assist with IT projects, upgrades, and office moves as assigned

Qualifications
Required:
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in: Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
• Basic understanding of: Windows operating systems, Computer hardware components, Networking fundamentals (IP, Wi-Fi, VPN basics)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple requests
Preferred:
• Previous internship, coursework, or hands-on experience in IT support
• Familiarity with ticketing/help desk systems
• Experience with Microsoft 365 environments
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory
