Role Overview
As a Java Developer Intern, you will have the opportunity to work on high-impact projects that directly enhance our e-commerce platform's core functionality and performance. You will collaborate closely with seasoned developers and cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain high-quality, mission-critical Java applications.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, test, and maintain back-end Java-based applications and microservices.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that adheres to established engineering standards.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from initial concept and architectural design through rigorous testing and deployment.
• Collaborate effectively with front-end developers to seamlessly integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to efficiently resolve issues and optimize overall system performance.
• Actively participate in code reviews, providing and receiving constructive feedback to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in Java, Spring, and related technologies to ensure our applications remain current and cutting-edge.
Qualifications
• Demonstrated proficiency in the Java programming language.
• Familiarity with key Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and common software design patterns.
• Experience with relational databases and the use of SQL.
• Knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.
• Prior experience with Java development projects is a significant plus.
