Internship Description

Summary
The Customer Success Intern helps ensure Skillmore customers get lasting value from the Skills Intelligence Platform after go-live. Skillmore does not yet have a dedicated Customer Success function, so this intern works directly with the Sales and Implementation teams to track customer health, support adoption, and help lay the groundwork for a formal Customer Success practice.

Responsibilities
• Track customer adoption and usage of core platform features (dashboards, skills-inference reports) and flag accounts that need attention.
• Support the Implementation Manager during the handoff from onboarding to steady-state usage, making sure open action items get closed out.
• Help prepare renewal and expansion materials for the Principal Enterprise Sales Executive ahead of contract dates.
• Field routine customer questions and troubleshoot common issues, escalating technical problems to Implementation or Engineering as needed.
• Maintain accurate customer records, notes, and account health-status updates in the CRM.
• Help build lightweight customer success playbooks, templates, and check-in cadences as the function gets off the ground.
• Gather and organize customer feedback and feature requests to share with the Product team.

Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Communications, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable speaking directly with customers.
• Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple accounts at once.
• Interest in SaaS, HR technology, or account management.
• No specific technical background required, but curiosity about how software products work is a plus.

Compensation
This is an unpaid internship intended for currently enrolled college students seeking practical, real-world experience. No compensation is provided; students are encouraged to confirm eligibility for academic credit with their institution.
