We are looking for interns to join our Internal Audit team for an 11- week period lasting from early June to late August. The internship requires 40 hours of work per week in a hybrid work environment (at least 3 days in the office and 2 days working remotely from home in Las Vegas).
The ideal candidate will have a curious, analytical mindset and possess excellent communication skills (written and verbal). Completion of the following classes are ideal:
- Auditing and Assurance Services
- Internal Auditing
- Financial Accounting
- Managerial Accounting
- The Accounting Environment
- Financial Reporting

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Participate in the planning and risk assessment activities for audit engagements
- Participate in fieldwork testing and audit documentation for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and non-SOX engagements including reviewing processes and control support and performing inquiries with management
- Participate in the wrap-up and reporting process and documentation
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
- Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Accounting, Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field
- Must be in junior, senior, or master status
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications is a plus
- Previous work experience in accounting, finance, or audit is a plus
SALARY DETAILS
$22-27/hour
