Investment Strategy, Platforms Intern

Do you find yourself immersed in the content from brands on social platforms? Do you wonder how an ad found its way to your screen? Do you wish there were a better way for brands to show up in the feed? If so, perhaps you should consider a career in investment strategy – an industry that uses data, research, and platforms to buy media that gets real attention.

TRG is on the lookout for an investment strategy, platforms intern. The TRG intern experience is like that of an entry-level hire, because our interns play active roles on the teams they are assigned to and gain exposure to the investment process at TRG and to all media subdisciplines. We take pride in the fact that many of our interns earn the opportunity to join the agency on a full-time, permanent basis.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Work closely with investment strategy, platforms teams across the search and retail media, social TV, and social commerce and experience disciplines
• Work with internal teams to collect media assets and build campaigns in-platform, on schedule, according to a set list of objectives and guidelines
• Monitor active buys and reconcile invoice discrepancies and reporting with in-platform delivery data
• Learn the in-engine or behind-the-scenes operations that transform media campaigns from theory to in-market
• Discover the academic research that influences the market dynamics of how brands actually grow
• Additional learning opportunities: participate in the intern shadowing series to gain exposure to media strategy teams, other investment teams, media systems training, and weekly intern seminar series with interns from across the agency

• College degree track, coursework, or internship within media and/or advertising preferred
