About the Role
Team Trident is a veteran founded and owned subsea oil and gas staffing agency based out of Katy, TX. Founded in 2006, we have successfully introduced over a thousand veterans into the industry. We have a large offshore talent pool that assists in building and maintaining subsea structures.
We are seeking a driven and outgoing Recruitment Intern to support our talent acquisition efforts within the subsea oil and gas industry. This role is heavily focused on candidate sourcing, cold outreach, and interviewing, with a strong emphasis on identifying and hiring military veterans transitioning into civilian careers.
This is a hands-on paid opportunity for someone who wants real recruiting experience—not just resume screening, but direct engagement with candidates and hiring teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Proactively source candidates using LinkedIn, job boards, veteran networks, and referral channels
• Conduct high-volume cold calls, emails, and outreach to engage potential candidates
• Build and maintain pipelines of qualified talent for subsea and offshore roles
• Screen candidates through phone and video interviews
• Translate military experience into relevant civilian skillsets for technical and operational roles
• Schedule interviews and coordinate communication between candidates and recruiters
• Track outreach, candidate progress, and interview feedback in the ATS

Qualifications
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Strong communication skills and comfort with cold calling and direct outreach
• Interest in recruiting
• Ability to confidently engage with candidates from technical and military backgrounds
• Organized, persistent, and results-driven
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment
