Role Description
We are seeking motivated and mission-driven students to join TechSpaces Education as STEM Program & Outreach Interns. Interns will contribute to event coordination and workshop instruction in coding, AI, and technology-related subjects, while supporting outreach to schools, educators, and organizations. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead educational initiatives, engage directly with students, and help expand access to technology education worldwide.
This is an unpaid volunteer internship position with a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Interns may receive community service hours, a letter of recommendation, mentorship, and a certificate of completion.
This is a hands-on opportunity to develop impactful events while helping expand access to technology education in underserved communities.


Qualifications
• Strong organizational and program management skills
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with students and team members
• Passion for STEM education and working with young learners
• Comfortable teaching or willing to learn how to teach
• Experience in coding, tutoring, leadership, or event planning is a plus
• Open to students and recent graduates (18+)
• This is a fully remote position open to applicants worldwide 


What you'll do
• Plan and coordinate virtual or in-person STEM workshops and events
• Teach coding concepts (e.g., Python, Scratch, web development) to students
• Support curriculum development and lesson planning
• Promote events through outreach and social media
• Collaborate with team members to expand global reach


Commitment
Flexible - approximately 3–5 hours per week, fully remote. Minimum 3-month commitment preferred. Rolling applications; start date is flexible.
