Public Relations/Digital Internship Opportunities at The Power Group
Ready to build a portfolio you're actually proud of? At The Power Group, interns don't shadow, they contribute. You'll work alongside our PR or digital team on real campaigns for brands like Torchy's Tacos, Golden Chick, Maple Leaf Diner, Caliber Collision, Haggar, and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas to name a few.
What you'll do as a PR intern:
• Build and refine media lists that land coverage
• Research client opportunities and pitch angles
• Draft press releases and media alerts
• Assist with influencer outreach
• Help execute restaurant grand openings from planning to on-site support
• Support crisis communications work when the stakes are highest
What you'll do as a digital intern:
• Attend client photo/video shoots
• Conduct influencer outreach and secure partnerships
• Community management for client social channels
• Content calendar creation
• Graphic design projects
This is a hands-on look at agency life: fast-paced, collaborative, and never the same day twice. College credit available.
What we're looking for:
• Junior or senior standing
• Availability for a minimum of 20 hours per week
• Organized, enthusiastic, and a true team player
• A genuine news junkie that is plugged into local and national media
• Strong writer and communicator
• Savvy across social media platforms
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and AP Style
