Position Summary
Therma-Stor is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Finance Intern to join our Finance team for the summer. This internship provides hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and business operations, offering exposure to real-world corporate finance activities while supporting key business initiatives.
The ideal candidate is eager to learn, analytical, and interested in gaining practical experience in finance, accounting, or related fields.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting activities
• Support preparation of financial reports, dashboards, and presentations
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and insights
• Help maintain financial models and spreadsheets
• Assist with month-end or quarter-end close processes
• Support accounts payable and general accounting tasks
• Conduct ad hoc financial and business analysis projects
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support decision-making
• Perform administrative and data-entry tasks related to finance operations
Qualifications
Required:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots preferred)
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
• Prior internship or coursework in finance/accounting
• Experience with financial systems or ERP tools (e.g., Oracle/JD Edwards)
• Familiarity with PowerPoint, Power BI, or other analytical tools
