Internship Description

Title: Administrative and Human Resources Intern
Internship Duration: 40 hours/week, possible return offer
Location: New York, NY
Onsite Policy: In-person – 5 Days Onsite per Week
Compensation: $3,500 per month
Position Summary
US Tiger Securities, Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Administrative and Human Resources Intern to join our team. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a range of administrative and HR functions while supporting the overall operations of the department.
We are looking for someone who is always prepared, responsive, hard-working, and dedicated, with a proactive attitude toward learning and a strong sense of professionalism in a fast-paced financial services environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative Support
• Provide administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the office.
• Handle various office tasks such as filing, data entry, and generating reports and presentations.
• Screen phone calls and route callers to the appropriate party, schedule meetings, and support visitors.
• Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, email, and mail.
Human Resources Support
• Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
• Support onboarding activities for new hires, including preparing orientation materials.
Compliance & Operations
• Assist in ensuring compliance with pertinent regulations and maintaining workplace safety standards.
• Support ad hoc projects and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required:
• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Professional proficiency in both English and Mandarin.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word), including advanced features to enhance productivity.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively as part of a team and interact positively with employees at all levels.
• A proactive attitude toward learning new concepts and taking on responsibilities within the department.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
• Prior administrative or human resources experience.
• Interest in pursuing a career in human resources, operations, or financial services.
