Position Summary
VETA NELL is seeking a motivated Sales & Marketing Intern to help expand the brand's presence within college Greek life. This role will focus on developing relationships with sororities, fraternities, and Greek organizations to create fundraising partnerships that allow organizations to sell VETA NELL luxury candles while raising money for their philanthropies.
The ideal candidate will have existing connections to Greek life and be comfortable initiating conversations with sororities, fraternities, chapter leaders, philanthropy chairs, and other Greek-life organizations. The ability to leverage personal, collegiate, or professional Greek-life connections is a requirement for this position.
This is an opportunity for a student or recent graduate who is outgoing, entrepreneurial, organized, and interested in gaining hands-on experience in sales, marketing, business development, relationship management, and fundraising.
Responsibilities
• Develop and maintain relationships with sororities, fraternities, and other Greek-life organizations.
• Conduct outreach through email, phone, social media, and in-person communication.
• Present VETA NELL's fundraising program and explain how organizations can use luxury candles to raise money for their philanthropies.
• Research Greek organizations, universities, philanthropy events, and other opportunities for potential partnerships.
• Maintain organized records of contacts, outreach, leads, and active partnerships.
• Assist with sales, marketing, social media, and promotional materials targeting Greek-life organizations.
• Identify new opportunities to grow VETA NELL's presence within Greek life and perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• Current college student or recent graduate; degree or coursework in marketing, business, communications, sales, or a related field is a plus
• Existing connections to Greek life, including relationships with sororities, fraternities, chapter leadership, philanthropy chairs, or Greek-life organizations
• Demonstrated ability and dwillingness to use personal and professional connections to develop new business relationships
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable initiating conversations through email, phone, text, social media, and in-person outreach
• Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office Suite, and comfortable learning and using new technology
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Creative, resourceful, and able to develop new ideas for sales and fundraising opportunities
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Professional and personable when communicating with potential partners and customers
• Detail-oriented and thorough when managing outreach, partnerships, and follow-up
