Internship Description

Winter4Kids is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Program Intern to support program operations, participant outreach, curriculum development, and administrative coordination. This internship provides hands-on experience in nonprofit youth programming, data analysis, curriculum support, and community engagement.

The Program Intern will work closely with the Program Director and program leadership team to help organize participant information, improve training resources, support recruitment initiatives, and assist with program planning and evaluation.

Responsibilities

Program Operations & Administration

• Analyze and organize program participation data and reporting
• Collect, review, and maintain participant waivers and required program documentation
• Assist with tracking participant information and maintaining organized program records
• Support data collection efforts related to program outcomes and participation


Curriculum & Training Support

• Work with the Program Director to update training materials and program resources
• Assist in reviewing and updating program curriculum and instructional materials
• Help organize educational and operational content for staff and program participants


Recruitment & Outreach

• Support program recruitment initiatives targeting schools and youth-serving organizations
• Conduct outreach through phone calls and emails to schools, community organizations, and youth programs
• Assist with maintaining outreach lists and follow-up communication
• Help promote Winter4Kids programming and mission to prospective partners and participants


General Support

• Assist with special projects, events, and program coordination as needed
• Collaborate with staff across departments to support participant experience and operational success


Qualifications

• Interest in nonprofit management, education, recreation, youth development, sports management, or related field
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Comfortable making phone calls and communicating professionally with schools and organizations
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently
• Experience with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or data organization tools preferred
• Passion for youth development and mission-driven work
