Internship Description

Join the campaign of Congresswoman Young Kim — a three-time elected representative — as we grow our field presence in Temecula, covering Corona, Lake Elsinore, Murrieta, Temecula, San Marcos, Escondido, Carlsbad, and San Diego. This is a paid opportunity to gain real, hands-on campaign experience while earning weekly and monthly cash incentives.

**What You'll Earn**
- **Weekly incentives:** Top 3 door knockers and top 3 phone bankers earn $50 / $25 / $15 gift cards every week
- **Monthly incentives:** Top phone banker (most answered calls) and top canvasser (most completed surveys) each earn $50
- **Recruiting bonus:** Bring on new volunteers and earn $15–$50 depending on how many you bring in
- **A personal letter of recommendation from Congresswoman Young Kim** for those who stay active through Election Day
- **Certificate of completion** for your resume
- **School credit available** — we'll sign off on internship units for eligible coursework

**What You'll Actually Do**

You'll be doing the real work of a campaign: knocking doors, phone banking, and talking directly to voters about the issues that matter to them. You'll get face time with the Congresswoman herself, exposure to real policy discussions, and a front-row seat to how a winning campaign is actually run. As we grow our presence in this part of the district, you'll have real input and real responsibility from day one.

**Why This Role Is Different**

Most part-time gigs don't hand you real responsibility right away. Here, what you do actually matters to the outcome. Whether you're a student, between jobs, or just looking for meaningful part-time work, you'll walk away with sharper communication skills, real persuasion experience, and a track record of helping run a competitive congressional campaign.

**Qualifications**
- Strong communication skills — comfortable talking to strangers, confident and professional
- Reliable availability for part-time, on-site work somewhere between Corona and San Diego, including some evenings/weekends
- Interest in politics, public service, or community engagement (a plus, not required)
- Prior campaign or volunteer experience is a plus, but we'll train you
