Job Description

Company Mission
narb is an early-stage startup dedicated to pioneering accessible and open-source technology solutions. Backed by substantial funding from a visionary investor, we are accelerating our mission of democratizing advanced AI technologies, including Nexus, our innovative multi-LLM chatbot, and nAgent, our revolutionary outbound AI voice assistant.

At narb, we believe clear, compelling motion design is critical to explaining complex technology simply and beautifully. We are seeking a highly creative Motion Graphic Designer Intern to craft polished product demonstration videos that visually communicate how our products work, why they matter, and how they feel to use.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design and produce motion-driven product demo videos that clearly explain narb’s software products, workflows, and features.
• Create UI-focused animations, screen mockups, transitions, and callouts that highlight real product functionality.
• Develop short-form and long-form demo content for LinkedIn, website landing pages, investor decks, launch videos, and social platforms.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clean, intuitive visual narratives using motion graphics and animation.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams to accurately represent features, updates, and roadmaps.
• Establish and evolve a consistent motion language aligned with narb’s brand and product identity.
• Iterate quickly based on feedback and product changes while maintaining high visual quality.

QUALIFICATIONS
Undergraduate student pursuing majors in:
• Motion Design, Animation, Digital Media, Visual Design, Multimedia Arts
• Graphic Design, UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction
• Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields with strong motion/design portfolios

Required proficiencies:
• Strong motion graphics skills using Adobe After Effects (required)
• Experience animating UI elements, product flows, diagrams, and typography
• Ability to create clear, polished product demo animations (portfolio required)
• Understanding of timing, easing, hierarchy, and visual clarity in motion
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
• Detail-oriented, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
(Open to extremely ambitious upper-class high-schoolers)

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
• Experience creating SaaS or software product demos
• Familiarity with Figma → After Effects workflows or exporting UI assets
• Experience with Lottie, JSON animations, or lightweight web animations
• Basic video editing skills (Premiere Pro, Final Cut, DaVinci Resolve)
• Interest in startups, AI, or human-centered technology
• Experience using AI-generated content tools (e.g., Runway ML, Descript, Adobe Sensei)

WHY JOIN US
• Own a high-impact creative role shaping how cutting-edge AI products are understood by users, investors, and partners
• Work with real, shipping products, not mock assignments
• Receive direct mentorship and guidance from passionate startup founders and senior marketing leaders
• Build an impressive professional portfolio featuring innovative technology products with significant public exposure
• Flexible, creativity-focused remote/hybrid work environment
• Unpaid internship initially, with clear potential for performance-based incentives and future paid roles or professional opportunities as narb continues to grow rapidly
