We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Intern to join our dynamic team. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for students to gain hands-on experience in a professional environment. This is an onsite role, based out of our Natomas, Sacramento area office. The ideal candidate will assist with various assignments while developing a strong understanding of financial concepts. Performance is judged based on the quality of work, application of accounting and taxation knowledge, and ability to meet time constraints.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
• Perform audit, accounting, and tax assignments, as needed, on client engagements and projects.
• Assists in proofing financial statements, tax returns, and other documents.
• Maintain confidentiality and security of client information
• Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and updates
• Available to work at least 20 hours per week.
Qualifications
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Familiar with financial concepts, tax regulations, and reporting standards
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
