Job Description

We are currently accepting applications for our 10–12-week, 32-hour-per-week summer internship program. As a Summer Interior Design Intern, you will have an opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on projects and to grow alongside a team of industry professionals.

We are seeking students eager to apply their skills to real-world challenges in a collaborative and creative environment. As a Summer Interior Design Intern, you will contribute to meaningful work that reflects our commitment to innovation, quality, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and optimize the Interiors sample library by assisting with the evaluation and organization of material samples, including pairing down and curating the library for relevance and usability.
• Develop and maintain a shared, network-based reference document that catalogs samples with links to applicable specification sections, finish categories, and project use cases.
• Explore alternative organizational systems and layouts for the sample library and create renderings to improve accessibility and workflow.
• Coordinate and participate in meetings with product representatives to support sample updates, product knowledge, and ongoing library improvements.
• Prepare and modify 2D and 3D drawings and renderings using AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp and Enscape.
• Develop solutions to technical and design challenges while adhering to established standards.
• Prepare project finish boards for clients and project team reviews.


What You Will Achieve By the End of This Internship:

• A comprehensive understanding of key interior disciplines, including healthcare, education and athletics, community, and commercial projects.
• Insight into interdisciplinary collaboration by working alongside engineers and architects.
• Experience in professional etiquette, both in an office setting and when engaging with clients.


Education & Experience Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a BS Interior Design or Interior Architecture program
• Junior or Senior year in Fall of 2026, preferred.
• Experience with design software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, preferred.


Physical Demands

• Duties of this position are performed in a normal office environment.
• Duties may require extended periods of sitting and sustained visual concentration on a computer monitor or on numbers and other detailed data.
• Repetitive manual movements (e.g., data entry, using a computer mouse, using a calculator, etc.) are frequently required.
• Occasional travel may be required.
• Occasionally required to stand; walk; climb, balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
