Job Description

I have a client seeking a Social Media & Community Manager Intern to help manage and grow our presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Reddit. You will work directly with me (Ashley Friedman) as well as the internal team of the company.


This is an execution-focused role. You’ll be posting content, engaging with communities, tracking performance, and iterating quickly.


📍 Buffalo, NY (onsite preferred; hybrid considered)

This is an unpaid Social Media & Community Manager Internship that offers remote flexibility. The intern will engage in managing social media accounts, creating and scheduling engaging content, fostering community interaction, analyzing key performance metrics, and supporting branding and promotional efforts. The role also includes assisting with social media strategies to enhance audience engagement and building relationships with the online community.


Qualifications
• Proficiency in Social Media Platforms, Content Creation, and Community Engagement
• Experience with Content Strategy and Planning
• Basic knowledge of Digital Marketing and Analytics tools
• Strong Writing, Communication, and Editing skills
• Creative and strategic thinker with attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Familiarity with Marketing trends and Social Media management tools is a plus
• Enthusiasm for social media, branding, and community development
• Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred
