Your new role
The AustralianSuper 2026 Intern Program is an exciting opportunity to build a career with a growing global investor. Commencing in June 2026.
Immersing yourself into what is fast becoming one of the world’s largest active fund managers, you will have the opportunity to work with and learn from professionals across our Risk & Compliance team.
Throughout the 8-week internship, you will work directly with Risk & Compliance team on real-life projects, analyse policies, processes and data to identify risks and controls, assist with regulatory research and preparation of concise insights, and collaborate with stakeholders across the business to embed best practice.


This role is based at our office in Midtown Manhattan based at 1251 Avenue of the Americas.


What you’ll need
• A passion for risk management, compliance and legal regulations
• A creative problem solver who is intellectually curious.
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Be solutions focused and align with the Fund's 'member-first' philosophy

• Be in your final or penultimate year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree
• Be able to join the Intern Program for 8 weeks from June 2026 to August 2026
• Be able to commence full time employment commencing September 2027 (2027 Graduate Program)
• Must have unrestricted authorization to work for any employer in the U.S.




Who you are (degree disciplines, desirable skills & experience)
• Degrees (examples): Law/Regulatory Studies, Economics/Politics/International Relations, Risk Management/Sustainability, Accounting & Finance, Data/Analytics (or related)
• Desirable experience: compliance or policy projects, case competitions, society leadership, volunteering, parttime roles demonstrating responsibility and judgment
• Desirable skills: attention to detail, analytical writing, communication, stakeholder management, teamwork, resilience/adaptability Life at AustralianSuper




Pay transparency notice
The salary range for this position is $85,000 or $47 per hour pro rata (this is based on full-time hours, located in New York City). The base pay offered may vary depending on job related knowledge, skills, and experience and refers to the amount AustralianSuper is willing to pay at the time of posting.
