Role Description
This is an internship role for a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern with Therapia Psychotherapy Group. Based in Beverly Hills, CA, the role operates in a hybrid capacity, allowing for a combination of in-office and remote work. Daily responsibilities include conducting therapy sessions under supervision, engaging in case management tasks, developing treatment plans, and maintaining accurate client records. Additional duties may involve participating in training programs and team meetings to enhance clinical skills.
Qualifications
• Strong Communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and team members
• Familiarity with Family Law and Case Management to understand legal and procedural aspects of therapeutic cases
• Knowledge of Medicine and Family Medicine to support a holistic approach to mental health care
• Enthusiasm for professional development and learning within a clinical training program
• Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field (completed or in progress)
• Eligibility for registration as a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern or equivalent in California
