Are you ready to ROAR into the marketing world?


Roar Media, a leading full-service integrated marketing agency headquartered in Miami, is now accepting applications for our U.S. Internship Program- a 10-week, hybrid opportunity for motivated college students, with a a foundational understanding of social media and a desire to gain real-world experience in Social Media.


This unpaid internship is for academic credit only and is designed to give students practical exposure to client work, mentorship from industry professionals, and insights into a fast-paced agency environment. Interns will be assigned to our Social Media department but will also interact with cross-functional teams to get a comprehensive view of agency life.


Key responsibilities:
• Assist in drafting social media copy, assembling posts, and creating content for client and Roar Media profiles
• Monitor and track social media trends and engagement to provide ideas and insights
• Support content planning, scheduling, and analytics reporting across platforms
• Help execute social media tactics, including community management and audience engagement
• Attend content shoots and assist with ideation, content capture, and on-site support (e.g., lifestyle stand-ins)
• Participate in twice-weekly team stand-ups to review workload, brainstorm ideas, and align on priorities
• Support ad hoc requests from agency teams to ensure smooth operations

Program Details:
• Duration: 10 weeks
• Schedule: Minimum of 20 hours per week (ideally Mon–Thurs, 5 hrs/day, flexible)
• Format: Primarily remote, with optional in-person meetups or events
• Equipment: Must use your own laptop; a Roar Media Google account will be provided


Eligibility:
• Must be currently enrolled in a U.S. college or university and eligible to receive academic credit
• While the role is hybrid, candidates must be based in Miami, FL, as occasional in-person meetings or events may be required


What We’re Looking For:
• Students majoring in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related field.
• Foundational understanding of social media platforms, with some hands-on experience managing content (through coursework, personal projects, or extracurricular involvement)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• A proactive, can-do attitude and eagerness to learn
• Comfort with remote work tools (Google Suite, Slack, Zoom, etc.)
